- Every customer has a unique boat, so Charlie listens carefully and asks questions centered around legibility.
- Sometimes the customer specifies an unusual combination of lettering style or colors, and is happy with the result. In most cases, a careful balance and proportion of letters works better than flashy effects.
- Although Charlie has worked at billboard scale, you won't see 18-wheel trucks or letters landing on door cracks. Just some mock-ups and snapshots taken under working conditions.
