Gunsight

The Gunsight graphic contains the photograph of a mountain associated with that title.

The name went on both sides of the main hull of the trimaran. The owner and I agreed that the graphic would be best protected from any kind of damage in this location near the stern.

Working from a rubber boat, I installed the lettering on site. The changing curvature and angle of the surface affect the perception of graphic from various points of view. For example, the "T" at the far right is closer to the rail than the "G" at the beginning - even so, the graphic appears to rise toward the bow. The owner approved this location after viewing several possible placements of the graphic (and holding the rubber boat in place as I worked...).
